Where My Love Grows
Mother’s Day Makeover Project Mother from 2022
How the design process worked
Lindsay’s sunroom is a long narrow room with many windows, doors, and no closet. This space was a fun design challenge that myself and my team were excited to tackle. We surprised Lindsay at her home with the news that she would be receiving a bedroom makeover! We quickly got to work that day measuring and brainstorming. I had Lindsay give me a list of her needs and wants and sent me a Pinterest board of her dream bedroom so I can get a good feel for her style. With the short time frame, we were working with I imminently sourced the perfect bed and ordered it the next day so it would be here before the babies come. I spent the next couple of weeks designing, sourcing items, and reaching out to sponsors so that everything would go smoothly once we started the transformation. While we began work on Lindsay's bedroom, she was able to stay with family so the whole transformation could be a surprise. We completed the work in less than six days. That is a complete bedroom transformation from start to finish in less than a month! We were tired but, we were so excited to show Lindsay and her family what we had been up to!
